Rachel was raised in Highland, Utah and graduated from Lone Peak High School. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of Utah. She then received a Master of Science degree in Exercise and Sport Science with an emphasis in Wellness Coaching. In this program she learned how to manage chronic conditions, apply behavior change techniques and how exercise and nutrition play a role in health care.
She previously worked in Corporate Wellness at BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina for 2 years creating and managing wellness programs for more than 30,000 employees. She later earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree as Valedictorian from Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, California.
Rachel has always had an interest in sports medicine and orthopedics. She loves being able to help restore function after injuries and decrease pain so patients can return to their normal daily and favorite activities.
In her spare time, Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband and dog, traveling, camping, hiking, 4-wheeling, and riding her bike. Basically, anything that allows her to enjoy the outdoors!
