Bob Bunnell, PA-C

Physician Assistant located in Lindon, UT

Bob Bunnell has lived in Salt Lake City most of his life.  Several generations ago, his family settled on the shores of Utah Lake.  His relatives still reside on Geneva Road.   Bob received his bachelor and master’s degrees from Brigham Young University.  After working for ten years teaching school and providing community health education services, he attended the University of Utah Physician Assistant Program.

His work as a PA includes experience in family medicine, correctional medicine, geriatrics, ophthalmology, employee health and educational administration.  He served Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana, as the founder and first director of the Rocky Mountain College Physician Assistant Program.  When the new program was fully accredited, he moved back to Salt Lake City and joined Wee Care Pediatrics.  He maintains full certification from the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

In addition to his clinical duties as a pediatric PA, he served as the Executive Director of the Utah Academy of Physician Assistants and president of the Community Health Centers Inc. Board of Directors.

Bob and his wife, Jann, were assigned to lead the Belgium/Netherlands mission of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 2015 to 2018.  He is now semi-retired and enjoys working part-time for Premier Family Medical in transitional care medicine.

He loves time with Jann, their five children and 22 grandchildren.  Skiing in the winter, flyfishing in the summer and doing a variety of do-it-yourself projects keep him busy and happy year-round.
