Dr. Steven Cherrington is a leading provider of family medicine for patients in the Utah County area. He offers family medicine care to all ages. In addition to hospice and palliative care, treatment for snoring, depression, sleep apnea, high blood pressure, and obesity. Dr. Cherrington can also provide many types of contraception including the no-scalpel vasectomy.
He gains great personal satisfaction in seeing people change for the better. To this end, he specializes in treating addiction to opioids, runs a very successful weight loss program and recently has started teaching patients to treat their Type 2 diabetes without the use of medications and ultimately reverse or cure their Type 2 diabetes altogether. He also is interested in and runs a business (GentleRevive.com) that uses medical lasers to do everything from rejuvenate nearly all skin of the body and to revise or remove tattoos. He also performs a procedure in the office that very effectively treats erectile dysfunction with a new treatment that does not use medications. He also performs very effective treatments for many types of sexual dysfunction with the O-shot and the P-shot.
Dr. Cherrington was raised in Ogden, Utah where he graduated from Weber State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish Literature. He then graduated from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and finished a three-year residency in Family Medicine in Fort Worth, Texas. Dr. Cherrington is board certified in family medicine as well as hospice and palliative medicine. He is the Utah County hospice medical director for the largest nonprofit home health and hospice agency in the state of Utah. Dr. Cherrington serves on the board of trustees at Timpanogos Regional Hospital.
Dr. Cherrington has a particular interest in women’s and children’s health, treatment of depression, snoring, sleep apnea, obesity as well as helping with many forms of sexual dysfunction that both men and women can experience. He manages contraception in women and men, including vasectomy using the no-scalpel approach in a very short in-office procedure.
