Conner Sugrue was born in California but claims Utah as the hometown of his heart.  He attended Brigham Young University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience.  He began a career in hospital administration before changing courses and pursuing a profession with more direct patient care.  He ultimately graduated from the University of Utah with the Degree of Master in Physician Assistant Studies.

Conner intensively studied and researched the neurochemistry of depression and anxiety during his time at BYU.  He loves helping patients understand what is happening in the brain in mental illness, and empowering them to know that there are real and effective treatments that can lead to lasting change.  He also enjoys continuing medical education and will often do research with his patients to make sure they are receiving the most up-to-date care.

When not caring for patients, Conner spends every moment possible with his wife and daughter.  He also enjoys camping, hiking, and playing just about any sport with a racket.
