Weston Allinson, Trusted Family FNP-BC

Weston Allinson is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who brings a thoughtful, relationship-based approach to care. Raised in the rural town of Ferron, Utah, Weston grew up hiking through the San Rafael Swell and riding motorcycles across the desert. That small-town upbringing—and its sense of connection, resilience, and community—continues to shape the way he practices medicine today.

Following a long-standing family tradition, Weston’s path into healthcare began at Snow College, where he earned his Associate of Science degree. He went on to earn both his Licensed Practical Nurse and Registered Nurse credentials, followed by his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southern Utah University. After years of bedside experience, he completed his Master of Science in Nursing–Family Nurse Practitioner at Roseman University.

Throughout his nursing career, Weston cared for patients in oncology, long-term care, memory care for individuals with Alzheimer’s, and aesthetics. These experiences taught him not only the science of healthcare, but also the power of building strong, therapeutic relationships—with patients, caregivers, and families alike. His clinical training as a nurse practitioner, including extensive time with the team at Premier Family Medical, prepared him to care for patients across the entire lifespan with confidence and compassion.

Weston strives to create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment where patients feel heard, respected, and supported. He believes healthcare should be a partnership—rooted in trust, shared decision-making, and a little light-heartedness when it’s needed most.

Outside of the clinic, Weston enjoys visiting antique shops in search of vintage glassware and furniture, learning new board games, and going on walks with his husband and their Goldendoodle. His go-to Swig order is a 32 oz. Diet Daisy Duke, and his favorite snack is a bucket of movie theater popcorn.
