Dr. Jim Bledsoe is an expert physician at Premier Family Medical. He joins Premier with 26 years of experience in the military and in private practice in Northern Utah.

Dr. Bledsoe grew up in Huntington Beach, California. He attended Brigham Young University before completing his osteopathic medical degree at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. He received world-class residency training in Family Medicine at the National Capital Consortium in Washington, DC. Subsequently, he served 11 years in the U.S. Air Force.

Dr. Bledsoe has extensive medical experience caring for newborns, children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly. He has served as medical director for hospice and skilled nursing. In the hospital setting, he served as Chair of the Family Medicine Department at Ogden Regional Medical Center. While on active duty, Dr. Bledsoe deployed to the United Arab Emirates. He enjoys travel medicine and does yearly humanitarian missions to remote locations in Mexico, Guatemala, Paraguay, and Morocco.

In his spare time, Dr. Bledsoe enjoys trail running, skiing, and spending time with his wife and five children.
