A Utah native, Dr. Brown grew up in the small town of Hooper. He received a Bachelor’s degree and an MBA from Utah State University before attending the University of Utah for his medical degree. He completed a residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Florida where he received multiple recognitions including Resident of the Year and two time Best Resident in Interventional Pain Medicine. After completing his residency,  Dr. Brown returned home to Utah to complete a fellowship in Pain Medicine at the University of Utah.

Dr. Brown has an extensive knowledge of the field of Interventional Pain Management, has published several papers on new interventional procedures, and presented research at several national conferences. He practices evidence-based medicine to offer his patient’s the best care possible and enjoys every aspect of Pain Medicine–from counseling with patients about medications to performing advanced procedures. Neuromodulation with Spinal Cord Stimulation, kyphoplasty, nerve ablation, and injections are some of the procedures he enjoys most. He also enjoys medical device design and has earned several patents, including one current device.

Dr. Brown is married and has 3 children. He has often been accused of having too many interests and hobbies but he is happiest when he is outside with his family hiking, running, cycling, camping or hunting. He is excited to be settling down in Utah County near so many friends and family members.
